OverviewKionomad, is an io-slave for the Creative Nomad II, IIc and II MG MP3 players. It allows you to download, upload and delete files to or from your player using Konqueror.DownloadThe current version is 0.1 which has all the basic functionality like up-, downloading and deleting files. Special features like setting the clock and the presets isn't supported yet.Download Version 0.1 (source tar.gz package) InstallationThe package uses the Nomad II Linux driver written by Gabriel Gomez. So make sure that you first download and install the nomadii library (packet libnomadii). Important: This program only works with version 0.82 of the nomadii library. You can download it from here.I also recommend that you download and install the nomadii commandline tool to check if everything works fine. This packet also includes a script wich configures hotplug for usb (see hotplug directory), and enables usb access for non root users. Read its INSTALL file for more information on how to setup the usb support. To install this package you need root privileges, so don't forget to execute a 'su root' first. Then change to the directory where you have unpacked this archive and simply execute the following commands: ./configure make make install If everything works fine, open konqueror and type "nomad:/" in the URL-field to see the files on your player. You can simply download, upload and delete files to your nomad player by using konqueror as usual.
